Zakaria Bakkali has become new Valencia president Layhoon Chan's first signing.

The former PSV Eindhoven winger penned a four-year deal yesterday.

Chan smiled: “We are very pleased with how the operation worked out because it's not easy to sign a young player with so much potential – he's already made his international debut with Belgium.

"We're very happy, satisfied and we thank Zakaria for choosing to join us."

Chan has succeeded Amedao Salva, who resigned from the post last week.
