New Sydney FC owners expect Kosmina, Aloisi to stay

Sydney FC's new owners expect coach John Kosmina and marquee player John Aloisi to remain with the club next season. Russian David Trakovenko will take over as club owner in March.

His appointed director, son-in-law Scott Barlow, backed Kosmina and Aloisi to remain at the club next season. But asked if they could work together, he said: "No comment."

He also told the Sunday Telegraph: "I've said (Kosmina) is contracted for next season and we see no reason why we wouldn't honour that contract at this stage. I've said that consistently.

"With regard to John (Aloisi), he's contracted for next season as our marquee player and we're very comfortable with that."
