New Swansea deal a 'no-brainer' for Dyer

Nathan Dyer admitted it was an easy decision to sign a new contract with Swansea City.

The 25-year old winger has put pen to a four-year deal with the Welsh club and revealed that it was not too difficult to commit himself to the Swans cause.

"You only have to look at the players who have left and it's not always turned out well. You have to look at it and think, 'Is this the right club for me?' and it is. We're moving in the right direction so it was a no-brainer," he said.

"I'm delighted to have signed and it's done and dusted. I hadn't given it a second thought not to stay here. Since I signed the progression of the club has been unbelievable and I'm pleased to have signed.

"Since I came here (from Southampton in 2009) every season has got better and better and better. Everything from promoted, winning the cup, getting into Europe, it's cloud nine stuff and I hope it continues."
