Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp cannot believe the surly ways of Manchester City firebrand Mario Balotelli.
Redknapp has told the sulk to buck up his ideas.
He let rip in savage fashion, live on Sky Sports, after being asked for his opinion of City's increasingly wayward Italian.
Redknapp said: "He is miserable. I mean, he needs to learn to smile. He looks like he hates every minute of what he's doing.
"I've never seen anybody with that sort of attitude. It's frightening."
The White Hart Lane coach, 64, said: "I don't know if you can change him. He had problems at Inter Milan. I think the players there had issues with him over the way he behaved.
"It's just sad to see a guy, who is earning all that money and is doing something you should love doing, make it look like a chore.
"He scores a goal and he's got this look on his face - this arrogant look. The kid needs to realise just how fortunate he is to be in the position he is."
