New strike partnership pleases West Brom's Mowbray

West Brom boss Tony Mowbay is pinning his hopes on the new striker partnership of Jay Simpson and Marc-Antoine Fortune.

The pair started in the 3-0 victory over Middlesbrough on the weekend and Mowbray is looking forward to more of the same.

"Jay and Marc are both good footballers," Mowbray said.

"They've got slightly different assets but they gave a hard time to a Middlesbrough side who have done pretty well away from home.

"Even when they lose they don't concede many goals.

"Jay and Marc's movement was good and their linkage and threat was always a thorn in Boro's side.

"Hopefully that can remain the case as we move into the remaining months of the season."
