Nitol-Tata, the sole distributor of Tata vehicles in Bangladesh, has reached an agreement with the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) to title sponsor the Bangladesh Premier League for the remainder of the 2013/14 season, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. The agreement marks a return to the competition for Nitol Tata Group, which previously served as the league's title sponsor between 2000 and 2005. The announcement comes as current sponsor Grameenphone decided against renewing its deal.
No financial details have been unveiled but reports in the Bangladeshi press value the agreement at around US$70,000.
The agreement will also see Nito-Tata reward the league champions with a Tata Ace pick-up truck and each of the top three players with a motorcycle.
