German media have speculated that Hamburg's Brazilian midfielder Ze Roberto is set for a move to MLS club New York Red Bull.
The 35-year old has been linked with the club for some time now but both fussballtransfers.com and Sport Bild have stated that Ze Roberto is set to leave Hamburg at the end of the season.
Rumours have also emerged that the Red Bulls have offered him $15million over three years with incentives but New York head coach Hans Backe admitted he wasn't aware of that proposed deal.
"I haven't heard anything about it, to be honest. (I've heard) all the rumors of course on the (TV), Sky Sport and all that, but I haven't been asked about it,'' Backe said.
Ze Roberto said he was not prepared to discuss his future until the end of the season.
"I do not wish to discuss the matter yet. I'll do that until the season is over," he told fussballtransfers.com.
