Diego Tristan is expected to be in Gianfranco Zola's squad for West Ham's clash with Middlesbrough tomorrow.
Tristan has signed a one-year deal with West Ham after leaving Italian club Livorno and has been working hard to build up his fitness.
The 32-year-old, who scored 78 goals in 177 matches for Deportivo La Coruna, could start on the bench.
