New Liverpool signing David Amoo struck in the U18 team's 2-0 defeat of Sheffield Wednesday yesterday.

Ryan Crowther and Amoo, who was snapped up by Liverpool from Millwall over the summer, scored the Reds goals and coach Hughie McAuley told liverpoolfc.tv:"We scored two good goals. Ryan hit a great shot into the top corner and then David capped a good performance by scoring the second after a nice one-two with Michael Collins."
