New Real Madrid coach Julen Lopetegui is chasing a deal for Valencia striker Rodrigo Moreno.

El Larguero says Lopetegui has requested Rodrigo's signing from Real president Florentino Perez.

The former Spain coach recognises Karim Benzema could leave for Napoli and sees Rodrigo as the ideal replacement.

Los Che chief Mateu Alemany knows they face a battle to keep hold of Rodrigo, who has also been linked with Atletico Madrid. As such, he is demanding €120m to sell.

Rodrigo is a former Real Madrid Castilla player, leaving Los Merengues for Benfica in 2010.
