Aaron Ramsey signing a new contract with Arsenal could stall their transfer plans, it has been revealed.
The Telegraph says the Wales international is chasing a wage of £300,000-a-week to stay.
Should he sign a deal, then the Gunners will reportedly be unable to afford new recruits in the New Year.
Their current wage bill is reportedly in excess of £200million.
And that means Arsenal would not have the financial muscle to afford new signings when the transfer window reopens in January.
