New QPR coach Glenn Hoddle is being linked with Crystal Palace.
The Independent says Hoddle is the surprise third candidate on Steve Parish's shortlist to replace Tony Pulis, with the Crystal Palace co-owner eager to speak to the Queen's Park Rangers coach before he makes a decision.
Parish has already interviewed Tim Sherwood and Malky Mackay, although he will have needed the permission of QPR to contact Hoddle, who only took up a role at the club a week ago having been recruited by Harry Redknapp.
QPR would be sorry to lose Hoddle but clearly would allow him to leave should Palace wish to appoint him.
