Matt Le Tissier believes a new manager at Manchester City can help reinvigorate Yaya Toure.
The Ivorian midfielder has been sporadic in recent weeks, mixing brilliant performances with sub-par showings, and Southampton great Le Tissier feels a change of boss from Manuel Pellegrini to somebody fresh could help Toure rediscover his absolute best.
"It's a strange one with Toure as he goes from being a world beater one week to looking like he doesn't give two hoots and not really playing for the shirt the next," Le Tissier told Sky Sports.
"Maybe a new manager can inspire him as a person and as a player, then there's a chance that they can get another good year out of him, but he hasn't looked himself this season."
