The Daily Mail reports just 24 hours after making his debut in the 2-0 win against Cardiff City, United's club-record £37.1million signing spent his day off pounding the streets of Cheshire with his girlfriend looking for a new pad.
The 25-year-old is interested in finding a home in the plush, upmarket area, which is a magnet for Manchester's footballers.
United team-mates Wayne Rooney, Nemanja Vidic, Nani, Patrice Evra and Ashley Young all live locally, while City rivals David Silva and Joleon Lescott are also residents.
