Fabio Liverani is excited about taking the manager's job at Leyton Orient.
The former Fiorentina and Lazio midfielder was named new Orient manager yesterday.
"I met the president Becchetti last week and he asked me to become the team manager with extensive powers.
"The experience abroad is very stimulating and I immediately liked his proposal. Maybe I did not expect to start in this division, but the president made me feel at the centre of the project. The sports director remains (Mauro) Milanese, but I will make the choices on the field and in the market.
"I signed for three years because I believe in this project and I brought along two of my assistants."
He added: "Certainly the fact of moving to London was decisive in my decision."
