New Lazio striker Julio Cruz was delighted to beat former club Inter Milan in this weekend's Super Cup.

"I hope we will continue down this path," claimed Cruz.

"We need to enjoy this Supercup because this will go in the club's history books since we won it away from Italy.

"I am really happy about our performance. I feel it was destiny for me to win this Cup, today I am a Laziale but two months ago I was Interista.

"Football is like this. Presidents, players and Coaches they all go by and this chapter at Lazio is a new one for me and I hope it will be good," concluded El Jardinero.
