New Inter Milan powerbroker Perkasa maps out ambitious plans

New Inter Milan powerbroker Roslan Roeslani Perkasa has declared Massimo Moratti will remain as president. Moratti sold 70 per cent of the club last month.

Perkasa, one of Erick Thohir's business partners, said: "Thohir wants to stay at Inter for a long time. He likes the history and the Nerazzurri family, promising to make an even stronger club.

"We will officially become owners from December 15. There will be eight members of the Board of Directors: Thohir, me, Handy Soetedjo and another two of our associates, plus three people chosen by Moratti.

"There is no option to buy back the club, while the 70 per cent of our shares cover Inter's assets, including the training complex.

"We will sign from one to three players in order to finish in the top three in Serie A, then build an Inter Campus and some Inter Stores in Indonesia.

"Moratti will remain President for another year or two, then someone between myself, Handy and Erick will take this role."
