Erick Thohir is hoping he's doing something positive for Indonesia with his takeover of Inter Milan.
The billionaire has bought a 70 per cent stake in the club, along with fellow Indonesians Rosan Roeslani and Handy Soetedjo.
Thohir declared: "Today is a very special day. It 's an honor for me to receive the confidence of the Moratti family, for an agreement that will lead Inter to be a better and a more international club.
"Hopefully this new partnership can also improve relations between Indonesia and Italy, especially in the aspects of sport and business."
