New Hibernian signing Dickoh has pop at Celtic
Francis Dickoh says Celtic had a sloppy attitude in their Europa League hammering from Utrecht, reports the Scottish Sun.
Dickoh has signed a one-year deal at Easter Road after four years with Utrecht and the Ghanaian international accused Neil Lennon's men of believing they had done enough in the first leg to progress.
The Denmark-born 27-year-old said: "Utrecht are still celebrating their win over Celtic. It was a great win, especially when they lost 2-0 away. I think Celtic came with a sloppy attitude, thinking that it was already done. We felt as if we could still go through after the first-leg because, in terms of football, we were equal.
"Celtic had more tempo and more physical aspects to their game and that shocked a lot of players who were a bit inexperienced at inter-national level.
"The whole atmosphere at Celtic Park was overwhelming for some players, I think.
"At home, Utrecht knew they could do something and to get two penalties within 20 minutes helped a lot.
"I was definitely happy for the team.
"It was a good dressing room and I made not only good colleagues but good friends at Utrecht.
"Marc-Antoine Fortune is a good friend and obviously I spoke with him before I came here.
"Obviously I have to adapt to the tempo and the intensity of the training, I had my first day on Thursday, but it met my expectations.
"I like to give 100 per cent, combined with football along the grass.
"I don't like to play too many long balls but when they come, obviously I'm a defender, so I'll try to go for the aerial balls as well."
