Shahid Khan says he has no plans to move Fulham away from Craven Cottage now that he is owner.
The Pakistan-born American billionaire has purchased the Southwest London club from Mohamed Al-Fayed but immediately turned down suggestions that the Cottagers were set to move on from their home on the banks of the Thames.
"Craven Cottage is a shrine. I was there in '07 to see the Liverpool match it was a phenomenal experience and it stayed with me over the years," he told talkSPORT.
"There are no plans to move away. Craven Cottage is part of the magic of Fulham and, quite frankly, that's what makes it (the club) work.
"And if we are to build a long-term future that is sustainable, we need to invest in the facilities and the people, obviously.
"The Riverside Stand will be developed. Fulham holds a special place in English football. If you speak to people, it's their second club. And Craven Cottage is a special part of that."
