New England Revolution have loaned midfielder/defender Donnie Smith to the Rochester Rhinos.
The 23-year old has headed to the Revs' USL PRO affiliate on a short-term loan in order to gain some first team development.
Smith was selected by the Revs with pick number 21 in the 2013 MLS SuperDraft and has since made two MLS starts. He joins New England teammates Jossimar Sanchez (defender), goalkeeper Luis Soffner and midfielder Alec Sundly at Sahlen's Stadium following their respective loans to the Rochester outfit.
