New England Revs hit by Ralston setback

New England Revolution have confirmed that captain Steve Ralston suffered a broken right fibula on Saturday evening in the away match against the Kansas City Wizards. Ralston suffered the injury in the 12th minute of the teams' match when Kansas City midfielder Herculez Gomez clipped him from behind near the center of the field. He was taken to Providence Hospital in Kansas City, Kan., where the injury was confirmed.

With the playoffs just around the corner New England head coach Steve Nichol will be trying to come up with a new game plan now his star midfielder is missing.
