New England Revolution win Fair Play trophy

New England Revolution earned the MLS Team Fair Play award for accumulating the fewest disciplinary points during the 2008 regular season. The Revs claimed the Team Fair Play award after garnering only 300 disciplinary points. They assign 4 disciplinary points for each yellow card, 10 points for each red card, 0.50 points for each foul committed and a reduction of 15 points for each disciplinary-free game that a team completes. The Revolution have received the Team Fair Play award once before, in 2003.

New England face Chicago in the second leg of the Eastern conference semi-final, on Thursday 6th November, sitting all square after the first leg.
