New England Revolution have waived midfielder Mauricio Castro.
The 28-year old Honduran midfielder joined the Revs in 2008 from Olimpia of Honduras' national league but they have decided to release him, freeing up an international roster spot.
Castro made 30 appearances for New England but has failed to get on the pitch so far this season.
