New England Revolution owner Kraft may delve into Israeli football

The owner of MLS franchise New England Revolution, Robert Kraft, admits he may become involved in Israel football.

The American businessman of Jewish ethnicity is the chairman and chief executive of The Kraft Group and also owns National Football League team New England Patriots.

He may now be expanding into Israel with plans to own a club in the Western Asian nation.

"Yes, we have been approached on multiple occasions and we will keep our options open," he said when asked about purchasing an Israeli Premier League team in an interview with The Jewish Press.

Kraft's Revolution currently sit sixth on the MLS' Eastern Conference table whilst the Patriots won the East in the NFL last season but were unsuccessful in the playoffs.
