New England lose Cristman for season

A day after a humiliating home defeat at the hands of Joe Public in the CONCACAF Champions League, New England has received more bad news. Forward Adam Cristman, who has scored a team leading six goals including a brace against David Beckham's LA Galaxy on July 4th, is out for the season. With only eleven days remaining until the MLS trade deadline passes and with the summer transfer window shut, the Revs will be hard pressed to find a suitable replacement.

Cristman, in his second MLS season, sprained the toe late last season and aggravated the injury in January while training with U.S. Olympic Team prior to the CONCACAF Qualifying Tournament.
