Radamel Falcao could still remain at Manchester United if the club re-signs goalkeeper David De Gea.
The Manchester Evening News reports that the Colombian striker is set to stay at Old Trafford beyond this summer if the Red Devils can keep De Gea away from Real Madrid.
Falcao and De Gea are both represented by Jorge Mendes and it is believed that the agent wants the 29-year old, who is on loan from Monaco, to remain at United for at least a second season.
It has been suggested further that to appease Mendes in order for him to negotiate De Gea's stay, United will hang onto Falcao for another 12 months so he can prove himself in England.
