Former Seattle Sounders and Chicago Fire star midfielder Freddie Ljungberg has revealed that he believes American soccer fans lack passion.
The 33-year old Swede, who recently signed with Scottish giants Celtic, feels that although the fans turn up to MLS matches, they do not have the same passion the fans of European clubs do.
"What I missed the most in America was the passion for the sport," he said during an interview with BBC.
"If you're looking for passion then it's here (at Celtic). There is great support. The fans and the passion are very good here and it's a great team."
