Newly-appointed Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has dismissed rumours suggesting that he will bring Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard to Celtic Park in the summer.
The former Liverpool boss was appointed by the Glasgow club on a 12-month rolling contract last week, and various reports have suggested that he could bring Gerrard from MLS in a player-coach role.
However, Rodgers has ruled out making a move for the player who is currently plying his trade for MLS giants LA Galaxy.
"I think Stevie is enjoying his life in America. He's doing fine over there," said Rodgers when quizzed on the matter.
Gerrard's Galaxy are currently sitting third on the Western Conference table, seven points behind leaders Colorado Rapids, but with two games in hand.
