New boys FC Cincinnati enjoy sponsorship support

New US professional soccer outfit FC Cincinnati have unveiled four major sponsorship deals ahead of their United Soccer League (USL) bow in 2016, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.

The team, which is owned by a group led by American Financial Group Inc co-chief executive Carl Lindner III and will compete in the USL – the third tier of professional soccer in the US – beginning from the 2016, has announced deals with UC Health, Toyota, United Dairy Farmers and Legion Logistics.

UC Health, which operates the University of Cincinnati Medical Centre, has been named as the team's presenting sponsor.

Car manufacturer Toyota has come on board as a major sponsor and Toyota branding will adorn the team's jerseys.

United Dairy Farmers, a Cincinnati-based convenience store chain owned by members of the Lindner family, has joined as the youth sponsor.

And Florence-based freight and logistics company Legion Logistics has become the college supporter sponsor, in addition to a seating sponsor for one end of Nippert Stadium that will be called "The Legion."

Financial terms of the deals have not been released.

The formation of FC Cincinnati was only announced in August and the team has already secured deposits for more than 2,500 season tickets ahead of its first game in the USL in March.
