New Balance have hit back at Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini over their legal dispute.
Fellaini is attempting to sue New Balance for £2.1million, reports The Sun.
The Belgian midfielder and his team of representatives filed a law suit after claiming Fellaini received boots that didn't fit causing him "loss of enjoyment, inconvenience and impact on performance" as well as "considerable damage" to his feet.
Fellaini also claimed that the boots were "poor quality" and had to be “steamed and stretched" by the Red Devils kitman before he could wear them.
But New Balance claim they have WhatsApp messages to prove Fellaini was happy with the boots.
They reveal that a staff member messaged the player asking if the new boots were "a good fit for you better than previous?" - Fellaini then responded "yeah".
And in January Fellaini was asked: "Is the fit feel of the boots good?" to which he replied: "Perfect for the boots."
