New AC Milan primavera coach Rino Gattuso rapped his players after marking his debut with a 5-1 defeat.

The Milan legend oversaw the thrashing by Sassuolo.

“The red card changed the game," Gattuso told Sportitalia.

“There are regrets, and the result does not reflect the game, but at the same time the weaknesses of this side emerged.

“Too many times we didn't move in unison in defence and we make too many mistakes. The defeat hurts because of the way it happened.

“It was embarrassing, we have to accept that. There is more work to be done."
