Ex-England international Phil Neville is positive over the 2022 World Cup in Qatar potentially being staged in November and December of that year. "From an English point of view, we normally go into a World Cup at the end of a long, hard nine-month season where our players are dead on their feet," Neville tells BBC Radio 5 live.
"I think actually now for an English football team this might be the best thing that's ever happened. We're going into a World Cup about halfway into our own season and we can actually have a real chance of being fresh and doing well in a tournament."
