Gary Neville has questioned Liverpool's five-day warm-weather training camp.
Jurgen Klopp took his Reds to La Manga in Spain as they dealt with a 16-day break from competition between the February 11 win over Tottenham Hotspur and last night's 3-1 defeat to Leicester City.
This coming weekend, Liverpool take on Arsenal and although Neville expects them to fire back at Anfield, he cannot understand why they put up what they did at the King Power Stadium.
"I expect massive energy from Liverpool because that's what they are," he told Sky Sports.
"The performances we have seen in recent years have revolved around passing combination and energy. Where was the energy tonight? After a two-week break as well.
"What were they doing in La Manga?
"I expect the goals to be conceded and the defenders to get caught with balls in the box, but Leicester actually ran more than Liverpool in the first half."
