Neville tips Perth Glory to end Brisbane Roar streak

Perth Glory young gun Scott Neville feels the recent form of the side is good enough to knock over tearaway league leaders Brisbane Roar.

The 10th-placed Glory have improved their performances out of sight since late November and Neville insists a good lead-in to end the 19-match unbeaten run of the Roar at Suncorp Stadium on Friday night.

"We're confident going into any game, especially with the players we have in our team and the way we've been playing over the past couple of weeks," Neville said.

"Brisbane have to lose sometime and hopefully for us it will be this week.

"The last four weeks we've played Melbourne, Adelaide, Central Coast and now Gold Coast who are all going to be in the finals.

"Against Melbourne, we were a bit unlucky, Central Coast got a late equaliser; we beat Adelaide and now we've drawn with Gold Coast (on Monday night).

"I think things are looking definitely better from our perspective and we feel a lot more confident.

"We're looking forward to this game against Brisbane because I think we can cause a bit of an upset there."
