Neville: Signings, shock result - my greatest day at Everton!
Everton skipper Phil Neville says yesterday was the best day he's had at the club.
Just as Everton were beating Manchester City, they were also wrapping up deals for Nikica Jelavic and Steven Pienaar.
"It sends a message to the players that we are still ambitious still moving forward and still trying to compete-well done board!!!!
"When u have new signings it massively lifts the players it tells us the club r ambitious and r moving forward it inspires the fans too"Neville tweeted: "Morning all yesterday was one of my finest days at Everton not the result but the ambition the club as shown in the signings we needed it!
