Manchester United retiree Gary Neville has confirmed that David Beckham is highly likely to play in his testimonial on May 24.
The United 'class of 92' featuring current day stars Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes as well as Nicky Butt and Everton captain and Gary's brother Phil, will take on Juventus at Old Trafford next Tuesday.
LA Galaxy star Beckham has been invited by Neville but there was some uncertainty about his availability as his current club are set to take on Houston Dynamo on the Thursday.
But Neville is confident the former club captain will be there to help celebrate his career as well as the Champions League final which occurs on the weekend.
"I am in contact with David," said Neville. "It is looking positive but we still have a couple of things to sort out.
"Hopefully it will be an enjoyable game for the fans and, four days before Wembley, it will be like a celebration and send-off for the lads who have done so well this season."
