Manchester United must crowd out Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid, says Gary Neville.

The ex-United full-back played behind Ron for six seasons before the Portugal star's world-record £80million move to Real Madrid in 2009.

Ronaldo faces United for the first time on Wednesday when he will be aiming to add to his 182 goals in 179 games for the Spanish giants.

And Neville said: "The only way you can stop Cristiano Ronaldo is to get players around him - more than one.

"Because one-on-one, with him running at you with that pace going into the box, you really are in the lap of the gods."
