Manchester United legend Gary Neville has attacked former Liverpool chief Christian Purslow over claims the defending champs may never get back into the top four.
Purslow said United may never return to Champions League football if they don't qualify this season or the next.
Neville took to Twitter to vent his fury at Purslow's remarks by writing on Thursday evening: "Purslow 'United may never get back in CL if they miss out next season' What a clueless fool!!
"My Purslow logic- Liv will never win another title/Leeds down forever/oil dries up in Russia and UAE and United win every trophy for 50 yrs."
