Manchester United legend Gary Neville has attacked Chelsea's treatment of their young players.

Neville believes Ruben Loftus-Cheek is wasting his time at Chelsea after his World Cup success with England.

The former England coach said, "He has got the potential, he needs to play more games.

"Chelsea to be fair, they mess their young kids around that much it's unbelievable. The managers come in for 12 months so why would you give... you're not going to put your faith in young lads.

"They've got a great youth system there, fantastic. But then they just throw them out on loan left, right and centre. (Nathaniel) Chalobah's been the same. Izzy Brown, all those lads who are massive talents.

"Three, four years ago Jose Mourinho when he was manager said if we don't get these lads playing for Chelsea, then we might as well all give in. Well, we might as well give in then."
