AC Milan defender Alessandro Nesta admits improving Inter has them looking over their shoulder. Nesta says victory over Chievo Verona was critical after Inter's triumph the previous evening.

"It 's a very important result, because Inter has improved a lot and we had to return to winning," said Nesta.

"We are going through a so, so period, we can do better, but if we can win like today, we can stay ahead (of Inter)."
