Alessandro Nesta is concerned about former club AC Milan over their foreign investment.
Nesta feels Milan are becoming hamstrung over confusion due to ownership doubts.
"Milan are going through a tough spell," Nesta told Sky Italia.
"It's still not known who the next President will be. There's a period of confusion and the team is suffering. I hope everything will be resolved and the team gets back to winning.
"The Presidents of the past are gone. People like [Inter's Massimo] Moratti and Berlusconi who invested for passion are gone.
"Now there are a lot of foreign investors, who it seems only come to Italy to do business, though I hope that's not the case."
