QPR defender Ryan Nelsen says manager Harry Redknapp has offered every player a "clean slate".
QPR busted a gut at Sunderland to nab a vital point - something which did not happen under Mark Hughes.
And Nelsen, 35, smiled: "It annoys me when a new manager comes in because all of a sudden everyone tries to play well - where was that a few weeks ago?
"But it is a clean slate and everybody will have to impress just to stay on the field.
"Harry didn't have to talk about us having four points. We know we're not in a nice position. None of us like it. But Harry will bring in his own ideas and give us confidence."
