QPR veteran Ryan Nelsen says Mark Hughes needs time to get it right.

QPR remain without a Premier League win this season after yesterday's draw with Reading.

"I have played under a lot of ­managers but I know Mark ­Hughes has got what it takes to get us out of trouble," said Nelsen.

"It is for the owners to decide what happens.

"But if they do look at the whole picture they will realise Mark is doing all he can to ­improve the situation."
