Blackburn Rovers skipper Ryan Nelsen is excited about the prospect of new signings arriving at Ewood Park.
He said: "It is awfully sad when you players who have been around for a long time leave. Tugay has been part of the furniture, in fact he is probably older than most of it.
"There are a few others as well. Having said that, no one is safe this summer. I could be going as well, you never know what the manager has in mind. It is refreshing when you have change at a club.
"It is refreshing when you have players who wants to prove themselves. I think it only benefits the club having new people around, new energy and new personnel.
"Don't get me wrong we will miss the players that have left. They were great guys and great players, but on the other side of that it is exciting wondering who will be brought in in their place."
