Nelsen departs Blackburn to soon sign with Tottenham
Ryan Nelsen has departed Blackburn Rovers and is set to join Tottenham Hotspur his agent has revealed.
The New Zealand national team captain, who has been sidelined for most of the campaign with a knee injury, was released by Rovers yesterday and it is believed that a deal to join Spurs will soon be complete.
"We're just awaiting clearance. It's for six months, with a one-year option. It all unfolded quickly.""We settled with Blackburn and have reached agreement with Spurs,” Nelsen’s agent Lyle Yorks told the Washington Post.
