Lucas Neill will sign a deal with Omiya Ardija this week according to reports.
The Australian national team captain will reportedly pen a deal with the J.League club on Friday which will run until the end of December.
Former Blackburn Rovers, West Ham United and Galatasaray centre-back Neill has been without a club for the past few months following a short stint with A-League outfit Sydney FC but is set to now take his career to Japan.
35-year old Neill, who kicked off his career with Millwall back in 1995, has had recent spells in the Middle East with Al Jazira and Al Wasl after leaving Europe in 2011.
