Neill plays it coy regarding Al-Wasl departure

Lucas Neill has indicated that he will soon sort things out with Al-Wasl.

The Australia captain has been told by the UAE Pro-League outfit that he is surplus to requirements after just five months but admits he cannot talk too much about the next phase of his career as he is technically still under contract.

"I can't say too much because I'm still in a contractual situation with Al Wasl and I have to respect that and stay tight-lipped," the former West Ham United, Blackburn Rovers and Everton man said.

"There has to be some confidentiality about what could happen in the future but I am confident that things won't be far away from a positive outcome.

"I can't say whether I will see the rest of the season out with the club or not."
