Any chance of former West Ham United defender Lucas Neill returning to the Hammers look to be over as he discusses a move to Turkish giants Galatasaray. The player is now a free agent after his contract expired with the East End club.

The 31-year-old was offered a one-year extension to his contract at Upton Park, but decided to reject it, and has since been searching for a new club.

A source close to the player told Daily Star Sunday, "The West Ham thing is off. It looks like he's going to Galatasaray."
