Galatasaray defender Lucas Neill has revealed that club and country teammate Harry Kewell is ready for action.
The Australia national team captain has confirmed that Kewell, who has been battling ongoing groin problems, is fighting fit and should be back in the Galatasaray first team this weekend, giving a major boost to Australia's World Cup hopes.
"Harry is in good form - he was desperate to play last weekend but the manager thought it best he didn't get involved in such a high-intensity game as his first time back on the pitch," Neill said.
"So I imagine you're going to see him playing this week - whether from the start or on the bench I'm not too sure, that's the manager's call.
"But we've missed him and it's great to see him back in training - great for Galatasaray but more importantly for Australia at the World Cup."
